What happens in Photoshop....

.....nothing much! This is, for the most part, what most of my pics goes through. there are some temp and contrast tweaks when i process the .raw file and then its framing it correctly and adding a sig. the clone stamps are from a piece of leaf I cut out of the bottom left, there were some hanging out on the bottom and that was just awkward. :)

well this is completely random...this is going to be my fathers day present :) any suggestions on color...

When Jill Meets illustrator! + keeping sane

This is a concept iv been workin on for another school where we actually do some drawing. this started out as an interior piece but somehow morphed into an exterior haha were doing an interior of the same concept later in the term, my theme is zombies. :)

:/this project was a whole learning experience with illustrator, I used everything I knew how to do in this picture and it still turned out funky, to all of you who can do an realistic vector image I applaud you!

from my storybording class! the last part is a little funky, the drawings got kinda skewed and I didin't have a solid story line :(. It was a fun project though, lots of drawing I love the idea of storybording.

My summer

3 little pig house design, obviously i favored one character over the other . Trying to explore connection with shapes in relation to characters/enviroment. have some full enviros that i need to scan

Sils and final(?) lineup. reworkin Miss Queen wolf. For our storyboarding class were working with the 3 little pigs story. My story is 3 Pixy Pigs who fly and live in tree houses. Queen Wolf wants to contract one of them to build her majestic castle but! she secretly plans to eat them. hmmm scandelous.

Watts Towers

We went to the Watts Towers for a class trip, it was closed due to renovations they were doing on the structures so we couldn't go in it :(
It seemed 10 times more awesome inside it than walking around it. Basically the whole structure is suposed to be a giant sale boat, or so people think, sailing away to italy(?) done by Simon Rodia.

Ghetty Flowers

the painting from my last post was inspired by the shapes of the plants from the Ghetty Center Museum gardens, particularly from the picture above. I went to a recent lecture with scott robinson and it was amazing :) learned so much about design and shapes and finding shapes from other elements etc.

nice to have something finished! iim currently working on two 3d sculptures, which is an awesome change from computer zone outland, it feels good to work with actual materials. One of the things will be in a school show shocaseing our 'Outsider Art' class.

an excersise in blocking :) same tecniques in traditional can be applied to digital. the one on the left is where i was thinking way to much in the early stages. as yo ucan see the one on the right is more clean and defined and I have more of a sence of where im going with the piece

mmm..... dont' look at the faces DX I have them.... just not on them. this was a costume lineup for one of my classes. it turned out ok I think, I might color it. the hardest thing about clothes is trying to keep the character shape and read..while out makeing them bloobs of shapes :(
